  • How do I know if I need a new roof?

Sometimes, it can be as obvious as a hole in your roof, missing shingles, leaks, or animals living in your attic. Other times, the signs you need a new roof are a little more subtle. If your roof is more than 12 to 15 years old, it may be time to get a replacement. Curled shingles, missing or damaged flashing, excessive granule loss, and discoloration can also be good indicators that it’s time to replace your roof. If you're looking for reliable roofing companies, give us a call today.

  • How often does a roof need to be replaced?

The longevity of your roof will depend on the materials, installation quality, and ventilation, so it’s hard to give a straight answer. According to Bob Vila, your roof should get regular inspections once it reaches 10 years old to help detect developing issues. Solid, well-constructed roofs installed by reliable roofing companies will typically last between 15-25 years before needing to be replaced. Depending on the quality and type of shingles you chose and the underlayment of your roof, that number can go up to 30 or more. With CertainTeed Integrity Roofing System® and SureStart PLUS™ warranty, we guarantee our roofs will last up to 50 years.

  • How much does a new roof cost?

Every roof is different, so when considering the price of your new roof, roofing companies take a few factors into consideration. The size of your roof, the complexity, pitch, materials used, chimneys, skylights, and amount of ventilation all contribute. A replacement roof is a big investment, and giving a quote without examining your unique situation would not be in our customers’ best interest. We aim to make your roof replacement easy and affordable.

  • Should I replace my roof before I list my home?

A first impression is extremely important. According to Better Homes and Gardens, a whopping 40% of a home’s curb appeal hinges on the condition and aesthetic of the roof. When selling your home, a lot of home buyers will be turned away from a roof in poor condition. Selling a home with a new roof that has a CertainTeed Integrity Roofing System® and SureStart PLUS™ warranty will be very appealing to home buyers. A lot of buyers these days are on a tight housing budget, and they aren't interested in purchasing a home that's in need of a new roof. Getting help from roofing companies before you sell can help you get ahead of trouble while still recouping most if not all of the costs when you sell.

  • When is the best time to replace a roof?

While there's no official “roofing season” and roofers work all year round, the summer and fall are usually busier seasons for most roofing contractors. Factors like snow, rain, ice, and sleet impact how quickly roofing companies can safely and effectively get your roof finished, which is why dryer, warmer months are when most people opt to get their roofs replaced. That said, replacing your roof in the winter or spring (weather permitting) could result in a quicker installation due to more availability and less demand.

New insulated vinyl siding installed by professional vinyl siding contractors can add another R2 to R4 to your home. We always say that new siding is like wrapping a warm blanket around your home. You'll no longer have to worry about all those drafts coming through your existing walls with your new siding!

LP siding can mimic wood and offer a variety of standard color choices along with custom colors making LP a highly desirable exterior option! • I live on a busy road. Can new siding help with noise reduction?

Yes! Not only does siding installed by experienced vinyl siding contractors reflect radiant heat and reduce thermal conductivity to help keep your house cool, but it can also reduce noise by up to 39%.
